The picture is dated 1951. The covered slip is #1 located in front of the existing house. This photo was used in the book 'Images of America' by Mary King McDougal. The marina was highlighted on page 117. The covered slip is on page 119. The photo was taken looking north.
View from South River Road. Looks like they are working on putting in a retaining wall. The marina owned a dump truck that was used to continuously fill in the property.
